Phase 3 Wildfire Mitigation - review for closures

Phase 3 of the Upper Cheyenne Wildfire Mitigation Project has begun.  Cheyenne Drive, from the gate to the Bear Creek culvert crossing, is temporarily closed for public safety.  Please do not hike, bike, horseback ride or drive in this area.  It is estimated this closure will be in effect for 2-4 weeks.

Access to Bear Creek Canyon, from the Osage Road trail head, will be closed off to all uses prior to chainsaw crew operations on both sides of the trail.

Please respect these closures for your own safety and the safety of the workers on the projects.
