Residents love the natural setting of Perry Park, but with that setting comes some risks. According to the Colorado State Forest Service wildfire risk map, Perry Park lies in an area including moderate and high intensity fire risk. Residents can prepare for potential emergency, mitigate some risks, and know what to do if an emergency occurs. We are fortunate to have a Larkspur Fire Department Station within the Perry Park neighborhood for a faster response.
Here are links to important resources for Perry Park residents:
What to do in an emergency:

Ways to protect your lives, property, and community:
- Wildfire Protection Measures - lean what you can do to reduce the risk or impact of fire. Because of our mitigation efforts, we are labeled a Firewise USA community!
- Bi-Annual Slash Pickup Program - this is our largest program in the community to make it easier for residents to dispose of slash.
Perry Park Metropolitan District has a Firewise Committee that works on fire related topics in our community and for the Board of Directors.
